3D Printing
These are various models I have made with my extensively modified 3D printer. While I mostly print functional parts for my rockets and other projects, these models have no function besides looking pretty. (They also make great gifts)
(Please note that although I have made adjustments to these models, I am not the original designer.)
Topographical model of the moon
Because the wall width varies, the sphere acts as a lithophane when light is shone through it, creating a very crisp image of the moon's surface.
A gift for my mother (this is her favorite statue).
I printed the wings separately and reattached them using sockets and pins.
